A DIGITAL agency finds itself alongside the likes of One Direction, Madonna and Vogue in one of Europe’s top awards competitions.

The public has until midnight on Thursday to vote in the Lovie Awards, which recognise online excellence in websites, apps, social media and advertising.

Greenwood Campbell of Bournemouth has seen its website shortlisted in the corporate communications category.

One Direction, Madonna, Vogue, GW, the Guardian and others are up for trophies.

The site features a virtual tour of the company’s Richmond Hill studio, showing its team and the ethos of the agency. It has seen a 309 per cent rise in traffic and 78 per cent more time spent browsing.

Greenwood Campbell has taken on 16 more staff this year, has opened an office in London and has been nominated for numerous awards.

It is competing with five other websites in its category, whose judges include Stephen Fry, the “father of Wi-Fi” Vic Hayes and Soundcloud founder Eric Wahlforss.

But the category also includes a People’s Lovie award which is down to public vote.

Managing director Adam Greenwood said: "It is such an honour for Greenwood Campbell to be showcased alongside the biggest and best technology in the whole of Europe. I'm so proud of the team.

“Just being nominated is a privilege. Winning would be beyond incredible."
