A MOTORCYCLIST suffered leg injuries after a crash in West Parley during Monday morning rush-hour.
The incident, which caused major traffic delays, across the area, happened on Christchurch Road outside the Curlew pub around 7.45am.
The collision between the motorbike and car closed the road for around an hour leaving traffic at a standstill.
Roadworks were due to start at Parley Crossroads at 9am.
Motorist Dan Kent, 28, from, Christchurch said he had been stuck along Parley Lane for about an hour having left home just before 7.30am.
He said the traffic was "nose-to-tail log jammed" and a number of vehicles are turning around and going back the way they came.
