POLICE are continuing to investigate a collision involving a man on a ladder and mobility scooter on a busy pavement in Poole.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a 40-year-old man fell from a ladder after being involved in a collision with a mobility scooter being driven by a 70-year-old woman. The incident took place at Ashley Road on Friday, September 12.

Police said the man sustained serious head injuries and was taken to Poole Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition. The pensioner was not injured in the collision, which happened near Vapour Lounge at around 1.20pm.

A spokesman from Dorset Police said all lines of enquiry were being pursued. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to contact Dorset Police by calling 101.
