POLICE have arrested a 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth after a student was allegedly threatened with a knife at Poole Park this morning.

Officers were called to the park at 10.40am and detained one youth at the scene.

A spokesman from Dorset Police said: “At 10.40am we received a report in which it was alleged a male student had been threatened with a knife.

“Officers attended and after making enquiries arrested a man on suspicion of public order offences.”

The victim, an 18-year-old man from Poole, suffered a small cut or graze.
