A MAN who died from smoke inhalation following a fire at his Tuckton home has been named as Austin Patrick Stack.
The 65-year-old suffered cardio-respiratory failure as a result of injuries sustained during the blaze at his home in Saxonbury Road on Wednes-day, October 15, an inquest at Bournemouth Coroner’s Court heard yesterday.
Coroner’s officer Nikki Muller said: “Mr Stack was admitted to hospital on October 15 following a house fire at his home address. He passed away the following day.
“Police and fire investigators attended and are not treating the fire as suspicious.”
Mr Stack, born in Wolver-hampton, was identified by his sister.
Dorset Coroner Sheriff Payne adjourned the inquest for further inquiries to be made.
