DELICACIES from around the world will be on offer at the first ever Eat Street Bournemouth event, which launches today.

Fifteen street food caterers will be based in the Winter Gardens car park for the next three days offering a range of Caribbean, Mexican, Indian, Italian, Spanish and US food.

The festival will start at 2.30pm and admission is free during the day and £3 from 6pm onwards, to cover the cost of each evening’s DJ entertainment.

Organiser Tom Slaughter said: “I have seen just how successful these ‘street food on the hoof’ events are in London, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester and now Bournemouth folk have the opportunity to enjoy and explore a wide variety of international delicacies at a modest price during our superb launch food festival. Come and enjoy the fun.”
