TRAFFIC was this evening queueing along the A31 after a number of suitcases fell from a moving coach.
Motorists faced delays eastbound between the Ringwood exit and the Cadnam exit as a result of the incident.
However, the stretch was swiftly cleared by police officers and traffic is now moving freely again.
Earlier this evening, a spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "Some suitcases have fallen out of a bus travelling along the road.
"Police are at the scene, but most of the bags have now been picked up. Officers are still checking to make sure there are no more in the road or along the verge."
No one was hurt during the incident.
