Fire crews tackle blaze at house in Ferndown
Fire crews were called to a blaze at a home in Ferndown on Thursday evening.
Firefighters from Ferndown and Redhill Park were mobilised to the blaze at Golf Links Road in Ferndown just before 8.15pm.
Crews found smoke coming from behind a wood burner and cut away the plaster board to gain access to the fire.
The first floor and roof space of the property were also inspected and the blaze was extinguished using one hose reel jet.
