A DORSET law firm is the latest company to sign up a team for next month's Race for Life event on Bournemouth seafront.

Ellis Jones Solicitors, which has offices in Bournemouth, Poole and Ringwood, has 20 members of staff signed up for the 5k and 10k events on Sunday, June 14, which is double the number who took part last year.

Members of the running team include Stephanie Wilson, who works in the accounts department of the company's branch on Charminster Road.

She is the firm's longest -serving participator in the Race for Life, with medals dating back to 2004 when Ellis Jones first entered a team into the event.

Nigel Smith, managing partner of Ellis Jones Solicitors, said: "We have raised thousands of pounds over the last 11 years and are on course for another bumper sum this year.

"I would urge other companies to enter a team so we can raise the maximum amount of money for this fantastic cause."
