Two divers suffering with the bends were helicoptered to Poole in quick succession on Sunday lunchtime.
The first, who was diving at Lyme Bay, was airlifted into Whitecliff by the coastguard rescue helicopter at 1.25pm, and taken by ambulance to Poole Hospital's decompression chamber for treatment.
A second diver who had been diving at Anvil Point near Swanage was brought in the same way ten minutes later, and also taken to the hospital for treatment for decompression sickness.
