MISSING Maria Ann Vye has been found hours after police released an urgent appeal for help.
The 51-year-old, of Poole, was last seen on Wednesday morning at her home in the Wimborne Road area.
She drove off in her white Hyundai i10, and had not been seen since.
Officers this morning said the helicopter was involved in the search for Maria, and Inspector Bob Jacobs said police were becoming "increasingly concerned" for her welfare.
"If Maria sees this appeal, I would urge her to make contact with Dorset Police immediately to let us know she is safe," he said.
"Your family is very worried and want you home."
Police have now confirmed that Maria has been found, and a spokesperson said: "We are pleased to say that Maria has been found by officers in the St Leonards area and is being taken care of.
Her family have been informed and we’d like to thank the media and public for their help."
