A BOURNEMOUTH town centre road will close for water works next week.
Engineers from Bournemouth Water are set to install a new water service outside a premises on Albert Road.
This means a section of the road will be closed to through traffic, to the junction of Old Christchurch Road, from Monday until Friday.
A spokesman for Bournemouth Water said: "Some noise and disturbance is unavoidable, but we will do everything we can to minimise this.
"We are sorry for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
The closure also includes the suspension of the parking bays along Albert Road.
"Official parking restrictions will be in place for 24 hours each day starting from 8am Monday, October 26, and will be enforced by Bournemouth Borough Council," explained the spokesman.
"The area concerned will be pre-coned prior to us starting work. Our maintenance crew will be on site between 8am and 5pm."
