UPDATE: Mrs Bowen has been found safe and well.
POLICE are calling for help in their search for a missing 71-year-old woman.
Officers are searching for Kay Bowen, who lives in Charmouth, Lyme Regis.
She was last seen at her home in Fernhill Heights at 11.30am today, Wednesday, November 25.
Ms Bowen is described as white and around five feet seven inches tall.
She has fair, slightly curly hair and blue eyes, and it is believed that she is wearing a light brown, three-quarter length Marks and Spencer coat and black knee-high boots.
Ms Bowen may appear considerably younger than she is, police say.
Inspector Mike Darkin, of Dorset Police, said: “In these low temperatures we are becoming increasingly concerned for Kay. We understand that she may have been upset when she left and we need to find her urgently.
“I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a woman matching the description or who knows where she could be.”
Anyone with information about Ms Bowen's whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 25:252.
