A new poll of the rudest place names in the UK has been released.

Bell End is located in the village of "Lickey End", Worcestershire.

Here's the top 10 in full:

1. Bell End, Worcestershire - 36.35%

2. Brown Willy, Cornwall – 34.25%

3. Boggy Bottom, Hertfordshire – 30.55%

4. Twatt, Orkney – 26.20%

But there's no sign of these three...

Shitterton, near Bere Regis, Dorset - Residents of Shitterton had to fork out for a new stone entrance sign because people kept stealing the normal road sign. Bere Regis Parish Council initiated the work and residents paid for the Purbeck stone block.

Villagers had spent months without a sign after pranksters stole it in the latest of many, many occasions. The new stone block was concreted to the ground.

Back in Victorian times the prudish had its name changed to Sitterton but, over the years, it reverted back to the original name, that derives from a farm on a stream used as a sewer.

Happy Bottom, a hamlet near Corfe Mullen, Dorset

Shaggs, East Lulworth, Dorset – rumoured to be where Prince Harry once rented a secret love nest with girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

And there's also no mention of legendary New Forest holiday park Sandy Balls.
