A SHUTTLE bus service will be available at this year's New Forest Show, which starts today.

Morebus will be laying on the bus service throughout the three-day event, allowing visitors to travel on buses between the site at New Park and Brockenhurst railway station.

“We’re running services from early in the morning at 7am on Tuesday at regular intervals of up to 10 minutes until the evening of Thursday July 28", said Nikki Honer, morebus communications manager.

“Thousands of visitors are expected to enjoy the delights on offer over the course of the show - and our team is ready to make sure everyone is able to make their way there and back quickly and in comfort.

“We’re working closely with festival organisers to encourage people to leave their cars behind and enjoy the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere here - without having to worry about how they are getting home.”

New Forest Show secretary, Denis Dooley, added: “We are delighted to be working with morebus this year as our shuttle bus service providers for the show.

"As a new initiative for 2016, we are pleased to be to able this service free of charge to all advance ticket holders and member thanks to a grant we received from the New Forest National Park Authority.”

Return tickets are priced at £3 for adults and £2 for children.
