POLICE have charged a mobility scooter user with a drug offence.
A 57-year-old man from Bournemouth will appear before magistrates in September after being charged with possessing a class B drug with intent to supply.
It is alleged that the man stashed cannabis in the scooter.
Officers who arrested the man on Saturday, August 13 in the Lower Gardens allege that he was dealing the drug to young people.
A police spokesperson said: “A 57-year-old man has been charged with a drug offence.
“He is due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court next month.”
