MORE than 1,000 job seekers are expected through the doors at The Daily Echo Jobs Fair which takes place in Bournemouth next week.
Following the same successful formula as previous events, the Jobs Fair held at the Premier Inn at Westover Road on October 6, 2016, is a chance to put businesses before hundreds of people looking for a new role.
The fairs have now been running for more than 10 years and are now established as a positive environment for employers to meet jobseekers, those looking for change in career, or those seeking training and advice.
Angela Boyer, sales and events manager at the Daily Echo, said: “The February Jobs Fair drew crowds of over 1,000 job seekers, testimony to the value of this established event. Once again, this event was a huge success with interviews being arranged on the day and exhibitors reporting successful recruitment drives.”
“Sponsored by Health-on-Line, the October 6 event will once again be a unique opportunity for those looking for a new role, a change in career or training to meet employers on a face to face basis. Everyone is welcome – the atmosphere is always relaxed and comfortable and entry is free.
“In addition, the Jobs Fair is also a branding opportunity – a chance to ‘shout’ about who you are and what your plans are for the future.
“Any business that attends the jobs fair will get the benefit of a major marketing campaign by the Daily Echo, using our newspapers, website and social media channels.”
The stands are selling fast – with 24 local companies already committed to attending.
