NEW data reveals which general practice in Dorset keep their patients waiting the longest for appointments with their GP - and where was the most efficient for patients.
Published by the NHS, data spanning from the beginning of May 2020 to the end of October this year, reveal Dorset’s best and worse performing GPs for appointment waiting times.
Data published reveals how every GP across the country performs in patient booking times, and reveals how many patients of each surgery were seen within a day of booking, a week of booking and more than 28 days of booking.

The NHS say 38.9 per cent of appointments in October this year took place on the same day that they were booked.
More than 43 per cent of all appointments in October were carried out by a GP and 23.7 per cent were carried out by nurses.
