With Ramadan 2023 just around the corner, everyone’s looking for halal places to eat for iftar. Here's another one in Bournemouth to add to your list.
Tucked away in the busy high street in Winton, Mo’s Food Club, previously known as My Shake, continues to sell mouth-watering shakes and sweet desserts such as waffles and crepes, but now recently have updated their menu, providing appetising, Arabic style meals including Shawarma, Falafel and much more which are all halal.
Alongside the updated menu, they have now added a new “Arab Lounge”, providing traditional Arabic style seating. This additional seating area also includes a TV, perfect to watch live football games.
If you’re a student like me, the main floor is also great to study whilst eating as there are many tables plotted around the space and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing.
I myself was able to try the Chicken Shawarma Wrap alongside the Kinder Roche Love Waffle as dessert. Just immediately I knew the food was going to be good as the portions looked like a great size and you could tell the food, especially the dessert was prepared with care.
Overall, the food was great, the service provided by the waiters was amazing. The owner of Mo’s Food Club says: “it’s the perfect place to go if you want to try food from a different culture or even just to get a quick milkshake on the go”.
