A body found in a river in Dorset is believed to be that of a missing teenager from the Dorchester area, police have said.
As reported, the report of the discovery at the River Frome in the area of Lubbecke Way, Dorchester, was received by Dorset Police at around 3pm yesterday, (Saturday).
Although formal identification has not yet taken place, Dorset Police has said it is believed to be 18-year-old Alex Bendall, who was reported missing on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified.
