BH Live has announced free sessions to encourage more members to come forward in honour of National Fitness Day.

BH Live is a registered charity that runs in collaboration with the BCP Council to encourage fitness and new experiences for the people in the community.

On September 20, guests can enjoy free activities such as swimming or exercising in the gym at any BH live location across Dorset.

On Sunday 24 September, juniors can also indulge in a free taster session in the pool.

Rob Cunningham, BH Live’s Associate Director for Leisure said: “Looking after our own health and wellbeing has never been more important.

“As well as free one-day guest passes which are available all year round, National Fitness Day gives us another opportunity to throw open our doors and highlight the role physical activity has in promoting self-care.

“Furthermore, it helps raise awareness of the health benefits and points people towards leading healthier and more active lifestyles.”

Rob added: “When looking at physical health and improvement, it’s important to understand what the starting point looks like and what the goals are.

“That’s why this year on National Fitness Day, we will also be offering free health checks to include blood pressure, height, and weight to help set some achievable goals and targets for improving health.”

National Fitness Day takes place on September 20.
