After their stunning transformation last year, the world-famous Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Romsey are set to shine even brighter this Christmas with a brand-new outdoor light trail opening on Thursday 30 November and running until New Year's Eve.
Against the stunning backdrop of internationally important plant collections, the amazing light art installations are brought to life by millions of LED lights that enhance and reflect the natural world.
The trail includes six world premieres of artworks created by some of the most in-demand light and sound artists, designers and technologists, including double Guinness World Record holders The Projection Studio, whose work has been seen by millions on venues including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
The entire trail is packed with instant memories and moments that will live forever, but among many highlights, the light and sound projection masterpiece that is House of Dreams is sure to be a social media sensation.
Weaving elements of favourite fairy tales, from Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty to Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, there's also an intermission featuring artwork created by local school children - all projected on to Hillier Gardens' iconic Jermyn's House.
