NOEL Gallagher's High Flying Birds will perform their first show of 2024 at Poole Lighthouse.

An intimate gig scheduled for March 17, the event will be Noel's second visit to the Poole venue.

His first performance at the Lighthouse happened when he was a member of Oasis 20 years ago on June 23, 2004.

Oasis then went on to perform one of their most iconic acts when they headlined Glastonbury two days after their performance at Poole Lighthouse.

Although no longer in the band with his brother, Liam, following its breakup, Noel will play a wide selection of his work including some of Oasis' best songs.

This year will see the High Flying Birds perform across the UK including headlining Wigan's Robin Park, London's Alexandra Palace Park, and Cardiff Castle.

The 2022 tour was a massive success and saw the band sell-out across the UK.

The band's most recent album, Council Skies, was released last year and was regarded as one of Noel's finest works since Oasis.

It was nominated for album of the year by Rolling Stone UK.

Tickets go on sale on January 26 at 9am on the band's website.
