MOTORCYCLISTS and staff at Ducati’s only Dorset showroom held a start of season event over the weekend.
Nearly a year after opening its showroom in Ferndown Industrial Estate, the historic Italian brand hosted British Superbike Champion Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne on March 9.
Guests learned about the 2024 model range including the Hypermotard 698 Mono and Desert X Rally while they enjoyed music from Slippers the Split and fish and chips from Seafoods.
John Piper, brand manager of Ducati Bournemouth, said the year has been “amazing so far and we’re looking forward to our first full season”.
The 7,000 sq ft dealership opened last April and boasts an impressive showroom of motorcycles, historic and new, for sale, as well as Ducati-branded clothing, a café and a workshop.
Bosses are promising more events in the future, including the 2024 Ducati Roadshow on April 6 and 7.
