BCP Council’s suggestion to increase parking and permit charges will not in my opinion generate additional income. I think it will have the opposite effect as it will drive more and more trade from the town centres to the out of town shopping complexes where parking is free.
The town centres are a disgrace with seemingly a complete lack of pride in their appearance and need drastic improvement.
