MOTORISTS wanting to travel on the A35 this week are to expect disruption.
The trunk road between Morden Park Corner and Bere Regis will be closed overnight from Monday, April 15.
Workmen will be alongside the road cutting back and tidying up the trees, many of which have fallen over in recent months thanks to bad storms.
The closures, which cover approximately 6,530 metres of road, will be in place between 8pm and 6am each night.
Dorchester-based tree surgeons Knighton Countryside Management will be doing the work, and it is expected to last until Friday morning, April 19.
Meanwhile, a signed diversion route will be in place to take drivers on the A31, A350 and back onto the A35 or vice versa.
The work was first planned for the end of March.
