LYMINGTON jumped three places to sixth in Sydenhams Wessex Premier courtesy of a 3-1 win over visitors AFC Portchester.
The home side raced into a 3-0 lead thanks to a brace from Warren Kenna and a strike from Harrison Weeks.
Jordan Rose nearly made it four but headed against the crossbar, while James Davis was denied by a point-blank save.
Portchester grabbed a consolation in the second period when James Musselwhite pounced during a scramble in the box.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth Poppies suffered their first loss at Whitchurch in 13 visits as they were thrashed 6-2.
Sam Pekun and Taylor Leonard were on the scoresheet for Ken Vaughan's men.
- In Wessex One, New Milton closed the gap on third-placed Tadley Calleva with a 4-2 win at home to Fleet Spurs.
Rob Woolner, Kabba Jack, Sam Bayston and Sam Carter registered for the victors.
Ringwood lost 3-2 to visitors Hythe & Dibden as Sean Leadbetter and Peter Richmond-Cole netted consolation goals.
- Christchurch were left without a game after their home clash with Andover Town was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
