POLAND'S senior and junior sides were crowned champions in yesterday’s Cycle Speedway World Cup at Harbourside Park, Poole.
England trailed by just a single point with four races to go in the senior section but the Poles emerged victorious by eight points in the end.
Seniors: 1 Poland 47, 2 England 39, 3 Wales 37, 4 Australia 37. (Wales third after run-off).
Juniors: Poland 51, England 47, Australia 36, Wales 25.
