MAX Gradel’s hotly-anticipated switch to Cherries is thought to have hit a snag over paperwork.
The club has remained tight-lipped during intense speculation over the Saint-Etienne winger becoming Eddie Howe’s seventh summer signing but the Echo understands Gradel successfully passed a medical at Vitality Stadium yesterday.
Gradel even posed for pictures with fans outside the ground and seemingly tweeted his displeasure with Saint-Etienne over the hold up.
In a post that was later deleted, the translated version of Gradel’s tweet in French read: “I am disappointed with the behaviour of the club leaders because enough is enough. I would say much more after.”
Howe politely declined to comment on Gradel at last night’s fans’ forum and said: "We can't talk about any deals until they're done. Nothing has been done."
