PIRATES ace Kacper Gomolski will tomorrow bid to earn a spot in the 2016 world championship.

The 22-year-old is due to compete in the Grand Prix Challenge in Rybnik, Poland with the top three guaranteed berths in next year’s series.

Gomolski secured his place in the Challenge having finished second in a three-rider run-off in Terenzano, Italy in June.

Maciej Janowski – Gomolski’s captain at Poole – booked his place in this year’s GP series with a fourth-place finish in the 2014 Challenge.
