The Vitality Stadium encounter is set to be the first league meeting between the sides. Here, we look at the Toffees' danger men.

ROMELU LUKAKU

Bournemouth Echo:

Standing 6ft 3in tall, the imposing frontman has established himself as a key cog in Everton's armoury since his £28million move from Chelsea in the summer of 2014.

The Belgian's first goal in the 4-0 thrashing of Aston Villa on Saturday made him just the fifth striker to score 50 goals in the Premier League before the age of 23 – the others being Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Eleven-goal Lukaku, who has been linked with moves to Juventus and PSG, admitted this week that he planned to sell his house in Molenbeek after the Brussels suburb was hit by anti-terror raids by Belgian police.

ROSS BARKLEY

Bournemouth Echo:

Playmaker Barkley has tormented many a Premier League defender this season and evidence of his quick feet is borne out in the statistic that he is the fourth-most fouled player in the top flight.

Despite fame and fortune, the playmaker has remained grounded and away from football is in a relationship with nursery school worker Zoe Riozzi.

Barkley had been eligible to represent Nigeria through his paternal grandfather but instead elected to choose the country of his birth, earning his first England senior cap against Moldova in September 2013.

JOHN STONES

Bournemouth Echo:

It seems the sky is the limit for composed defender Stones, who has been tipped for big things by numerous pundits.

The 21-year-old was the subject of a summer-long tug of war between Everton and Chelsea and it seems that the talents of the Barnsley academy graduate are also coveted on the continent.

A recent poll revealed that 75 per cent of Barcelona supporters wanted the Catalan club to sign the England international, who joined Everton for a reported fee of around £3million in January 2013.
