REPORTS have linked Cherries with a move for Besiktas central defender Alexander Milosevic.

Turkish sports website Fanatik suggests Cherries have been “keeping close tabs” on the Swedish international and have made “an offer” to Besiktas.

Milosevic penned a three-and-a-half year deal with the Turkish Super League champions when he joined them from AIK Stockholm in January 2015.

The powerful defender, who is of Serbian origin, earned his move after netting three goals in 28 appearances for AIK.

Although he broke his foot in training shortly after joining the Istanbul giants, Milosevic returned in time for the start of the 2015-16 season.

He stayed at Besiktas for the first half of the season but found his opportunities limited and was loaned out to Bundesliga outfit Hannover in January.

The 24-year-old impressed during 10 games for the German club, only for the loan to be cut short after he had sustained a knee injury.

Milosevic still has another two years remaining on his contract with Besiktas but is said to be facing an uncertain future with the Turkish club.
