BRADY Kurtz unleashed a sensational fightback to help Plymouth win the Premier League Fours.

Pirates' young prospect, who finished on seven points, blasted from last to first in the decisive final heat to hand the Devils a dramatic victory at the East of England Showground.

Plymouth skipper Kyle Newman picked up five points but the star turn was provided by recently-recruited Poole asset Jack Holder, who bagged 11 points.

Workington finished a single point behind Plymouth with hosts Peterborough third.

Plymouth skipper Newman said: "No one really expected us to get through the semi-final, never mind beat three big-track teams in the final.

"I'm delighted for the club and the fans. It's been a tough period with financial insecurities, but days like today make you forget about the hard times and, hopefully, this will ignite the interest in speedway in Plymouth."

Newman was speaking to his personal website.
