CHRIS Holder feels Australia are underdogs for event two of the Speedway World Cup tonight.

The Pirates charger and his team-mates will hope to see off hosts Sweden, the United States and Germany and advance straight into Saturday's final.

Brady Kurtz has been included in Mark Lemon's side as an under-21 reserve for the four-way clash in Vastervik.

Holder said: "It's going to be tricky as all the Swedes are on a bit of form at the moment but we've got nothing to lose.

"We are the underdogs in the round given Sweden are the reigning champions and are on their home track.

"Jason Doyle is on fire at the moment and we have a good team, so we just have to put it together.

"If we get straight to the final that would be the best way to go but we will have to see what happens."

Hans Andersen has failed to earn a spot in the Denmark side for Friday's race-off at Belle Vue. The Poole star, who missed event one to attend his best friend's wedding, will serve as back-up for the unchanged quintet.
