DORSET'S Georgia Hall shot a one-under-par final-round 71 to complete a five-shot victory at the Aramco Saudi Ladies International.

Hall had led by five overnight at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club and was not put under pressure after birdies at four of her opening six holes on Sunday.

The former Canford Kid fell back on the closing nine to finish 11 under but was still well clear of Kristyna Napoleaova and Johanna Gustavsson, who tied for second on six under.

Emily Kristine Pedersen was a shot further back on five under with Carlota Ciganda fifth on four under.

Only 12 players finished under par with England’s Hannah Burke ending in a four-way tie for 13th on one over.

Hall extended her already comfortable lead to eight with birdies at the second, third, fourth and sixth, a sequence marred only by a bogey at the fifth.

She dropped another shot at the par-four 10th and there were back-to-back bogeys at the 15th and 16th, allowing Napoleaova to move within four, but Hall responded with a birdie at the 17th. She then closed out by parring the last.

Hall said on Sky Sports: “The front nine is a little bit easier and there was a little bit less wind than we’ve had, so I tried to take advantage by hitting some good shots on the front nine to get further ahead. It settled me from there.

“Sometimes it is not always easy with a five-shot lead into the last day – it puts a little bit more pressure on you – but I was really happy with the way I conducted myself.”
