ALAN Manning is set to bring to an end his decade-long stay at Bournemouth Rugby Club when featuring against Banbury this weekend.

Manning’s leadership has been integral in recent years for the Lions and he will be looking to help his side end the season on a high at Bodicote Park on Saturday (3pm).

Bournemouth make just one change from the side which was edged out by Royal Wootton Bassett last weekend.

Lions lost out 20-18, having battled back from an early 15-0 deficit with Grant Hancox and Mike Pope crossing the whitewash.

Ryan Morrell moves to left wing to replace Ash Taylor, who is out through injury. Pope comes off the bench to start at full-back, with Oli Grainger-Williams among the replacements.

This Regional 1 South Central clash was due to take place last month, but was called off at the last minute due to a frozen pitch.

Lions sit comfortably in mid-table, in seventh, but this weekend marks a huge occasion for Banbury.

They are fighting for their survival in the league, sitting second from bottom.

Lions have won nine and lost 12 of their 21 league outings this season, while Banbury have recorded five victories and two draws.
