SCOTT Mitchell reached the final of Challenge Tour 13 in Milton Keynes, pocketing £1,000 after finishing runner-up to Berry van Peer.

The Dutchman was dominant this weekend, winning Event 10 on Friday before completing a double on the Saturday, winning Events 12 and 13.

Scotty Dog made short work of Gareth Johnston in the opening round with a clean sweep of all five legs, before a tighter 5-3 win over Jonathan Kavangh.

British Indian Ocean Territory’s Coni Singh Nagi was dispatched 5-1 in the round of 64, followed by another eight-legged victory against Callum Francis.

He again produced a dominant performance to defeat Croatian Romeo Grbavac 5-1, setting up a final eight clash with Jack Main, who pushed Scotty Dog all the way in an eventual 5-4 win.

Marcel Walpen was defeated 5-3 in the semi, before Mitchell’s winning run was ended by Van Peer in a 5-3 loss.
