BOURNEMOUTH’S Georgia Hall finished her Dubai Ladies Masters campaign in 38th following a level-par closing round at Emirates Golf Club.

The 18-year-old had lit up her tournament on the third day when she aced the par-three 15th and won a £50,000 Mercedes.

However, the final round of the Curtis Cup star – who does not hold a full driving licence – was more low key.

Placed on two-over heading in, Hall remained on that mark after a bogey at the first and a birdie on 18 gave her a score of 72.

World number five Shanshan Feng strolled to a five-shot victory on 19-under following a closing two-under.

However, Hall’s compatriot and friend Charley Hull secured glory in the ISPS HANDA Order of Merit following her tied-fifth finish in the Middle East.

Hull, 18, the youngest player to feature in the Solheim Cup, banked more than 260,000 euro during the season.

Kinson-based Hall, who is affiliated to Parkstone Golf Club, now faces one of the most important tournaments of her career to date.

The former Oakmead College pupil is due to tackle Lalla Aicha Tour School final qualifying on Wednesday in a bid to earn a 2015 Ladies European Tour card.

Players who finish in the top 30 plus ties will earn a full membership on the LET.

  • Remedy Oak’s Gary Emerson finished bottom of the standings at the European Senior Tour’s season finale. Emerson was 61st on 24-over at the MCB Tour Championship in Mauritius.
