BEN Stow helped England secure their sixth victory in the European Nations Cup in Sotogrande, Spain.
Stow, who plays out of Rushmore Golf Club near Salisbury but is affiliated to the Dorset Golf Union, is the reigning Brabazon Trophy champion.
The 23-year-old and team-mates Ashley Chesters and Nick Marsh edged home one shot clear of Spain at La Reserva Golf Club.
Stow picked up a superb eagle on 15 as he aided England’s successful attempt to foil a late charge from the hosts.
Conditions were such that only nine rounds of the 256 played during the tournament were below par.
England had previously tasted success in 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013.
