BOURNEMOUTH’S Georgia Hall endured a disappointing finish to her opening round at the Deloitte Ladies Open today.

The 19-year-old rising star, who had teed off at the 10th, had been nestled on level-par prior to the final three holes at the International Golf Club in Amsterdam.

However, three consecutive bogeys saw the former Curtis Cup ace slip back to three-over, placing her tied-58th overnight.

It was a tough score to take given that Hall had reached the turn at one-under and had followed that up with six straight pars.

But the Ladies European Tour rookie now has plenty of hard work to do to ensure that she makes the cut at the 250,000 euro event.

Hall, who sits 51st on the order of merit having banked 11,185 euro so far this year, is seven shots off the lead held by home player Christel Boeljon.

Meanwhile, Brokenhurst Manor golfer Liz Young, who trains at Parley Golf Centre, experienced a difficult opening round in the Netherlands.

The 32-year-old carded two double bogeys on her way to a five-over 78, putting her in a tie for 89th and two shots worse off than the projected cut.

Hall is due to resume at 1.20pm GMT tomorrow while Young is off at 12.03pm GMT.
