BOURNEMOUTH'S Georgia Hall believes she has "a lot to look forward to" after retaining her card for the 2016 Ladies European Tour season.

The 19-year-old is due to complete her rookie year at the Dubai Masters at the start of December having already secured playing privileges for next year.

Kinson-based Hall is 35th in the order of merit having earned nearly 45,000 euro to date, placing her fourth in the rookie of the year race.

And the former Canford Kid, who banked a fifth-place finish at the Tipsport Golf Masters in August, said 2016 held plenty of promise.

Hall told the Daily Echo: "The second half of this season has been a lot better. I think it took a few competitions for me to get into the swing of things.

"I haven't missed a cut so far and that has been a bonus, although ultimately that's not what I'm aiming for.

"I had a top-five finish and a few top-20 finishes and they were all in the second part of the year, and some of them have come after terrible first rounds.

"To get those top-20 finishes having played to an average standard gives me hope that there is a lot to look forward to for next year.

"I think next year is big for me because I really want to kick on and I would love to win an event.

"Hopefully, I will have quite a good tour status, which is the most important thing.

"This year, I couldn't take part in some of the competitions and that hindered me a bit, especially at the start of the season because I didn't go to Australia and couldn't get into some of the China events.

"Next year, I should be able to play in pretty much all of them and that would help me a lot."

Hall elected to miss The Queens event in Japan at the start of next month as she did not wish to hamper her preparations for the 500,000 euro Dubai Masters from December 9-12.

She explained: "I didn't enter the tournament in Japan because the timing of it was so close to Dubai.

"That is the big LET tournament of the year for me, so I thought it was best to miss Japan and prepare properly for Dubai instead."
