BOURNEMOUTH’S Georgia Hall admitted she had deserved not to make the cut at the World Ladies’ Championship after a disappointing second round.

The 19-year-old followed up an opening 77 at Mission Hills in China with a 76 to move to nine-over, putting her on course to miss out on the weekend’s action.

Hall’s fate is due to be to determined early tomorrow morning (GMT), with plenty of players still to complete their second rounds at a tournament delayed by thunderstorms and darkness, respectively.

The former Oakmead College pupil again admitted to frustration over her prowess on the greens.

She said: “I hit the ball quite well but putted terribly. My putting is dreadful and I don’t know why. I think the longest putt I holed was five feet.

“I deserve not to make the cut but we’ll see what happens.

“It was a tough course and I hit one shot in a bunker and almost lost the ball because it was an inch in the bunker. I couldn’t even stand in the bunker, so it was not good.”

South Korea’s Han-Sol Ji led the way after day two on six-under-par. The 19-year-old LPGA Tour player was one shot clear of compatriot Kim Bo-Kyung.

One shot further back on four-under was Jin-Young Ko.
