BOURNEMOUTH'S Georgia Hall has set her sights on a top-five finish in the Ladies' European Tour order of merit after making a flying start to the year.

The 20-year-old is currently joint-seventh in the rankings having racked up earnings of more than 22,000 euros in four LET tournaments.

And ahead of her return to action in the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco today, Hall admitted she hoped to improve her lofty perch over the course of 2016.

She told the Daily Echo: “I would like to be in the top five by the end of the year.

"I have to set my sights high and being in the top five would be nice but I have to take it one competition at a time."

Hall, a former Canford Kid, has not featured in tournament play since she missed the cut at the World Ladies' Championship in China nearly two months ago.

She is set to tee off at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam at 8.07am as the tournament takes place in Rabat for the first time since 2010.

Hall added: “It will be the first tournament everyone is involved in this year so it should be a good event.

“I have had seven weeks off and am ready to go."
