RISING star Georgia Hall admits winning the Women's British Open is her biggest dream in golf.

The Bournemouth ace is currently sixth in the Ladies' European Tour order of merit in only her second full year on the circuit.

Alongside the likes of Charley Hull, Holly Clyburn and Melissa Reid, former British Amateur champion Hall is part of an exciting movement of young English golfers taking the world by storm.

She has roared up to 176th in the world rankings and with the world seemingly at her feet, the former Curtis Cup star and reigning Victorian Open champion insists British Open glory is her ultimate aim.

Hall said: "It’s been a really good few months.

“I have got into the British Open automatically for the first time, which is great because I’ve had to qualify before. I can now really push towards a good performance there.

“I hope to win on the LET this year and I think I am capable of that. But to have a good performance at the British Open would mean a lot as well.

“The LPGA is the place you need to be, so, hopefully, I can move over to play in America at some point, but winning the British Open is my biggest dream.”

Hall was speaking at the recent SSE Women’s Invitational at Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club, a ground-breaking business event that put gender parity at the forefront.
