BOURNEMOUTH'S Georgia Hall yesterday got her Ladies' Scottish Open campaign off to a solid start with a level-par 72 at Dundonald Links.

The 20-year-old, who is due to feature in next week's Women's British Open, recovered well following a double bogey midway through her round.

Teeing off at the 10th, she carded an immediate birdie which she later wiped out at the 16th.

The former Canford Kid then dropped two shots at the par-four first but a birdie three at the second lessened some of the damage.

With the end in sight, Hall sunk another birdie on the eighth to finish level.

Meanwhile, heavily-pregnant Liz Young shot four over, leaving the Brokenhurst Manor player with plenty of work to do to make the cut.

Hall is due off first this morning having been handed a 7.30am tee time. Young will tee off at 1.37pm.
