A PERSON who “went AWOL” sprayed a parked car with a fire extinguisher. 

The person damaged a grey Citroen Picasso during the bizarre incident in Cracklewood Close, Trickett’s Cross in Ferndown on Wednesday evening. 

Police officers were called to the incident but have yet to find the suspect. 

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “At 6.48pm on Wednesday 15 May 2024, we received a report of criminal damage to a vehicle outside an address in the Trickett’s Cross area of Ferndown.  

“It is reported that the vehicle was sprayed with a fire extinguisher. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. No arrests have been made.” 

One witness, who asked for anonymity, said he saw the person go “AWOL at someone and let off a foam fire extinguisher all over someone's car”.
